Trying a new gym—especially something like CrossFit—can be really intimidating, but at Breathe from day one, the atmosphere is welcoming and genuinely beginner-friendly, which makes it so much easier to get started without feeling overwhelmed. For newbies they work with you one on one to start to give you a chance to get comfortable, understand the structure, and build confidence before jumping into group classes. The coaches and members are supportive, encouraging, and just really awesome people to be around. It’s a great community that makes you want to keep coming back.

After over two years as a member, I feel like I can finally give an honest review of Breathe. A lot of places seem great at the beginning, but once the “new” wears off you start to notice the little quirks. That’s why I waited. And honestly? The gym has only gotten better. The owners truly care and take pride in helping members become better versions of themselves — inside and outside the gym. They’re always looking for ways to improve and actually listen to suggestions from members, which says a lot. The community is hands down the best part. No one acts like they’re better than anyone els…
Coaches are amazing. Safe and welcoming environment for all skills levels. Personally, I’ve trained for general health, basic combat training and then pregnancy. Haven’t made it back since having my baby but when I do, baby’s are more than welcome! There is truly something for everyone to do at whatever stage of life you’re in!
Breathe is a great gym. It’s welcoming for everyone which can be hard to find for a lot of people, it’s not the type of place you walk in and feel awkward the first time. I’m a FTM and so is Toni the owner, which is awesome because she understands the challenges of working out and navigating postpartum. I’ve always struggled in the gym with not knowing what to do and it’s great to have someone like Toni and a gym like Breathe where it’s okay to not know and there’s no awkwardness asking for help.
I joined Breathe last fall, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I had never tried CrossFit before, but I had friends who did it & loved it. From the owners to the coaches and members, everyone is incredibly friendly, supportive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is so positive and motivating - it makes you actually look forward to working out! As a busy mom of two, it has become such an important and rewarding outlet for me. I can’t recommend Breathe enough

Favourite movement: all of them. Least favourite: none.
Away from the gym she is walking, hiking, playing softball, or outdoors somewhere in the sun — and usually learning something new, with Spanish and the saxophone both in progress.
Her perfect day starts without an alarm clock, takes in coaching and a workout, and spends the rest of it outside with family doing something active, eating food that is good for you and still tastes good, and finishes in the hot tub looking at the yard.
CrossFit Level 2, Gymnastics Level 1 and StrongLifting Level 1, and a Programming Around Pain specialist. Ask Toni her favourite movement and she will say all of them; her least favourite is none, which tells you most of what you need to know. Outside the gym: the White Mountains, softball, and learning something new.

Favourite movement: the snatch. Least favourite: double unders.
Outside the gym he is building things — there is usually a project on the house on the go.
His perfect day is coaching a fun workout with motivated people who want to learn, getting the house projects done, and then time with Toni and Hailey. Failing that: Ossipee, or Ogunquit.
CrossFit Level 1 and USA Weightlifting Level 1, with CrossFit Running, Dumbbell and Kettlebell behind them too. Favourite movement: the snatch. Least favourite: double unders. A perfect day is coaching a fun workout for people who actually want to learn, then getting back to a project on the house.
